Position OverviewThe teacher maximizes and diversifies the delivery of educational services by providing direct assistance to students at assigned grade level(s) and fields to ensure students learn subject matter and/or skills that will result in their mastery of subject matter and process skills and contribute to the fulfillment of the School mission. The teacher develops lesson plans and delivers individualized student instruction within established curriculum guidelines; collaborating with other teachers, other professional staff, and administrators in addressing instructional and/or classroom issues; and responding to a wide range of inquiries from students’ parents or guardians regarding instructional program and student progress.

Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution (required).
Valid LA Teaching Certification or evidence of eligibility for one.
Teaching experience (preferred).
