Minimum Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. Degree
- Valid Louisiana teaching certificate
Benefits and Salary
- Salary commensurate with experience and certification
- Enrollment to the Teacher Retirement System of Louisiana – TRSL (21.5% of the salary)
- Enrollment in a short-term and long-term disability insurance program
- Enrollment in a life insurance plan
- Health, dental, vision, and other voluntary benefits (Hynes covers 85% of the employee coverage)
- 10 days of annual personal time off

Hynes-Lakeview is an A-rated public charter school serving students in Pre-Kindergarten to eighth grade from the Lakeview area and other neighborhoods in New Orleans.

Strategically created to meet the demands of enrollment from the original campus, Hynes-UNO was formed with a corporate partnership with the University of New Orleans. It is a slow-growing campus that will serve students in grades Kindergarten and fifth in the 2024-25 school year, with the intent to grow to eighth.
