Welcome to our Baby Ben website. We are Benjamin Franklin Elementary Mathematics and Science School located at 1116 Jefferson Avenue for grades PK through 5 and 401 Nashville Avenue for grades 6 through 8 in Uptown New Orleans. It is a joy to be a part of a warm, nurturing, child centered environment. We are a learning community, seizing every opportunity to enrich the lives of not only our students, but our faculty, staff, parents, and community. We are data driven and are building on our strengths while addressing our weaknesses. Our students are intelligent motivated individuals striving for excellence. We serve pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students from diverse backgrounds as well as special needs students and second language learners.
There is a family atmosphere at Baby Ben. Our sense of community, the quiet sense of purpose in the hallways, and the enthusiastic, engaging classrooms are well known trademarks of our school. As CEO, I have set high expectations and standards for the academic and social development of all students and the performance of adults.
