The Delores Taylor Arthur School for Young Men

The only public high school in the metropolitan New Orleans area serving only young men, our school model in and of itself provides a unique option currently unavailable to the community. The structures, policies, and practices we’ve adopted to support our all-male student body are borrowed from the best practices of the nation’s most innovative and successful boys' schools.

The Delores Taylor Arthur School for Young Men envisions a world where all young men have an opportunity to contribute to the communities in which they live regardless of race, ethnic origin, socio-economic position, or exceptionality. We prepare students for success by increasing college readiness, career readiness, and 21st Century learning skills of communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking.

Our Mission: To prepare our students to utilize their intelligence for the benefit of the communities in which they live.
