Position Overview
The classroom paraprofessional educator assists, supports, and works closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in providing educational benefit for students. Paraprofessional educators assist teachers in the classroom, supervise students outside of the classroom, or provide administrative support for teaching. Job duties range from filling teaching positions to supplementing regular classroom curriculum with additional enrichment activities for students.
Qualifications/Experience:
40 hours of college credit, associate’s degree, or ParaPro Assessment score of 450 or higher (required).
Paraprofessional experience (preferred).
CPI certified (preferred).
Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!
Compensation & Benefits: ECS offers a competitive salary that is commensurate with experience, TRSL and strong benefits package. ECS considers this position as full-time.

- Currently, all of our schools are in East New Orleans.
