Child-Specific Paraprofessional
Job Summary:
The Child-Specific Paraprofessional provides individualized support to a designated student with disabilities and complex health needs. This role ensures the student’s academic, medical, behavioral, and social-emotional needs are met in a safe and inclusive learning environment. The paraprofessional collaborates with teachers, parents, and related service providers to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and foster student success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to an assigned student during instructional and non-instructional activities.
Assist the student with personal care needs, mobility, and health-related tasks as required.
Support the implementation of the student’s IEP goals and accommodations.
