Job Title: Lead Teacher Reports to: Director of Middle School
Primary responsibilities include: ● Implementing and fostering a joyful classroom environment and encouraging all learners in a child-centered approach. ● Creating and implementing authentic Arts-Integrated instruction and Project-Based Learning practices in an academically rigorous setting. ● Teaching the whole child, including social/emotional learning, with a focus on logical and restorative approaches to problem solving. ● Providing thoughtful differentiated instruction to each student. ● Building and maintaining strong relationships with parents and families through open, consistent, and positive communication. ● Creating and/or maintaining appropriate records and assessments. ● Developing and implementing appropriate intervention strategies in collaboration with student support staff. ● Maintaining professional competence through participation in professional development opportunities. ● Consistently...
